I Didn't Want to Come Back: What Eternal Life Really Feels Like

There is something I have carried in my heart ever since my near-death experience.

I didn’t want to come back.

When I crossed beyond this world, I entered a reality that was more real than anything I had ever
known on Earth. It was not a dream. It was not a vision. It was life itself in its purest form.
The moment I entered that realm, I was immersed in an Infinite Love that cannot be described
with human words. Every fear vanished. Every burden dissolved. Every question became understanding.

I was completely known and completely loved.

Not judged.
Not condemned.
Not measured by my failures.
Simply loved.

The bliss of that reality was beyond anything this world can offer. Every joy we experience here
is only a faint reflection of the joy that exists in the presence of God. It was peace beyond peace.

Love beyond love. Life beyond life.
And I understood something that changed me forever.
Eternal life is not merely living forever.

It is knowing God.

This is exactly what Jesus revealed in John 17:3:

“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You

have sent.”

For most of my life, I had read those words as theology.
During my NDE, I experienced them as reality.

I discovered that eternal life is not something that begins after death.

Eternal life is the direct experience of God.
To know God is to enter His love.
To know God is to enter His peace.
To know God is to enter His consciousness.
To know God is to participate in His very life.
In that realm, I understood that God is not hiding from humanity.

God is not distant.
God is not absent.

God is overflowing with the desire to be known.
His greatest longing is communion with His children.

His greatest gift is Himself.
And then came the moment I never wanted.
I was told I had to return.
Everything within me resisted.
Why would I leave such perfection?
Why would I leave such love?

Why would I leave the very presence of the One for whom every soul longs?

Then I was shown why.
I was shown humanity.

I saw billions of people searching for what they already possess but do not yet recognize.

Searching through religion.
Searching through wealth.
Searching through success.
Searching through pleasure.
Searching through knowledge.
Yet beneath every search was the same longing.

The longing to know God.
The longing Jesus spoke about.
The longing for eternal life itself.

I understood then that I was not being sent back merely to tell a story about dying.

I was being sent back to help people discover how to live.
To help people discover the God who is already reaching toward them.
To help people understand that eternal life is available now.

Not someday.
Not after the grave.
Now.

The purpose of my return was not to convince people that heaven exists.
The purpose of my return was to reveal that God desires to be known.

Because when God is known, fear disappears.
When God is known, separation ends.

When God is known, life takes on eternal meaning.

When God is known, heaven begins to awaken within human consciousness.
My near-death experience was not an escape from Earth.

It was a commission.
A calling.
A revelation.

I returned because humanity is standing at the threshold of a greater awakening.
An awakening to the truth Jesus declared over two thousand years ago:

“This is eternal life, that they may know You.”

Not know about Him.
Know Him.
Experience Him.
Walk with Him.
Become conscious of His presence.
Live from His love.
That is why I came back.
To testify that God is real.
To testify that His love is beyond imagination.

To testify that eternity is not merely a future destination but a present reality available through knowing Him.

I was allowed to taste eternal life so I could return and tell others where it is found.

It is found in God.
It is found in Christ.

It is found in the awakening of divine communion.

And that invitation is open to every soul.

Because the same Infinite Love I experienced beyond death is reaching for you right now.

The same God I encountered is calling you right now.

And the eternal life I entered for a moment is the eternal life Jesus came to reveal to the world.

To know God.

And in knowing Him, to become truly alive.
